The Principles of Interior Design
Scientific
we can break interior design principles in one of a few. But be aware that these rules are not, rather the principles as essential elements for a feeling, flair or intuition to interior design.
Principle 1: UNIT
When interior, it is necessary to think of the house as a whole, a series of rooms connected by corridors and stairways. It is therefore appropriate that a common theme and run everywhere. This does not mean that all elements of interior must be the same, but they must cooperate and complement each other to strengthen the composition. One way to make this theme or the story is with the thoughtful use of color.
Principle 2: FOCAL POINT
Interior Design biggest enemy is boredom. A well-designed room always, depending on the size of the one or more nodes. A central point should be dominant for the attention and interesting enough to encourage the viewer to look further. A central point to a lasting impression, but also a part of the decoration, linked together by size, style, color or theme.
Principle 3: BALANCE
The balance can be described as the equal distribution of visual weight in a room.
The simplest and most formal type of balance is symmetrical balance, where the same objects are repeated in the same position on either side of a vertical axis, as one might find in the former state or gala rooms.
Asymmetrical balance is more appropriate in design today. Equilibrium is reached with a number of disparate items equal weight or visual appeal of the eyes. Asymmetrical balance is more casual and less contrived in feeling, but difficult to achieve.
Principle 4: Percentage
Percentage refers to the relative size measured against Elemens other or against a standard or spiritual standard. This design principle is very important when decorating a room.
Principle 5: RHYTHM
Musically, we describe the rhythms and pulse beat of the music. In the interior, the rhythm is repetition Visual pattern. Visual rhythm is based on the motion. As in music, rhythm in design can also be sudden and abrupt dynamic or legato connecting and flowing.
Principle 6: COLOR
Color is an element that often inspire human emotion, because color affects the value of life above and beyond other considerations. Colors therefore have a clear impact on the atmosphere you want when the interior.
Principle 7: DETAILS
Another important component of the device where it is necessary to take infinite trouble is details. Everything from the shadow of the shadow, color piping on the cushion of cloud points, light switches and cupboard handles need attention. Unlike color people find details boring. Therefore it is increasingly neglected and skimmed milk or generally ignored.
What color expresses the whole spirit and life of a scheme, the details are just as important underpinning of interior. Advertising must not clear, but they must be fair, reinforcing the general feeling of a room.
These principles of interior design should guide you when you start or do it yourself, or to discuss your ideas with your interior designer.
