The first step is for a birds eye view of your garden and patio. Make a sketch of your room and play around with some designs to you like what you see. Once there, get some great ideas for decorations, garden and patio power. Visit the Garden of others or public gardens. Look through home landscaping and gardening magazines to find what you want and develop plans of your choice.

Decide what style or theme is for you. . . formal, informal, rustic, Southwestern, Japanese. . . There are tremendous opportunities. So keep with the style and theme, so the overall effect is not confusing. For example, you want to combine bronze sculpture saints or cherubs with rustic wooden wagon wheels.

Imagine what your patio is most often used. You can plan to enjoy many of the guests outside. If so, make sure your patio has ample room for the greatest number of people from the start. Your terrace is more of a private retreat for reflection to enjoy the sun, read a book or watch the stars. Determine the use of shade, open sun, or even the cover of a roof.

Take your favorite ideas and put them in your rough plans – and soon you have a design ready to act.

The next step is to make your garden and patio design scale – you can use software for landscape architecture that, or do it by hand. Choose the flowers you intend to plant, and notice how much you need for each month of your growing season and select the structure of the design that will shape your design.

Some say the secret to a beautiful garden and patio design is for a good amount of hard work. This is what landscape architects call “good bones” – walls, fences, garden bridges, gates, Garden Arbors, landscape statues, garden fountains … Even a strong line of green plants.

Garden structures such as the creation of these shapes and lines, give your definition of the concept of garden and patio and dimension. Moreover, in the winter, when most factories empty and bare, your garden will keep the shape and meaning of the data. It is amazing how just one or two structures can produce this effect.

Most garden and landscaping structures are built to withstand the elements. Treated pine, cedar and teak garden furniture, gates, arbors and decorative fences are excellent choices. Stone, copper, bronze sculpture and garden will never let you down. Garden fountains bring incredible beauty and atmosphere of each garden and patio design – in fact his whole garden built around them.

Next, choose the flowers of spring annuals and perennials that give you flowers from one season to another. Select such that no carefree roses need pruning or spraying, and bloom continuously from spring to autumn. Planters filled with beautiful blooming flowers such as Oriental lilies or verbena for different colors throughout the summer. Do flower beds in the corners or along walk ways. Always consider your local climate and plant according to the needs of your sun and shade plants.

If your garden and patio design, create paths or roads leading from one region to another plan. Walkways are relaxed and charming. . . and so carefully arranged, will be a great help to you as a gardener. Paths can be stone, brick, stone, gravel or grass, although grass paths require more maintenance. Garden sculptures or sit thoughtfully placed benches along the way provide wonderful expression.

If your patio designs that are prepared to advance, there are ready-made plans available in books and magazines. This is a great way to get off to a good start. Use pre-made garden plans from start to finish, or parts of their right to participate by creating arrangements.
